The Employment Pass (EP) is for foreign professionals, managers, and executives who have a job offer in Singapore and meet the required salary and qualification criteria. It allows for long-term employment and residency.
The application process
Prepare Documents
Compilation of all necessary documentation from both you and your employer. This includes company details such as the business profile and registration information, as well as your personal documents like your passport, educational certificates, and resume

Submit Application
Your employer will take the lead in applying for the pass, through the Ministry of Manpower's (MOM) EP online portal

Processing Time
After submission, the application is typically processed within about three weeks

Approval
You will receive a decision in the form of an In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter if your application is successful

Collect Employment Pass
You will need to make an appointment to have your Employment Pass issued
Eligibility Criteria
- Job Offer: Must have a job offer in Singapore
- Monthly Salary: Minimum fixed monthly salary of SGD 4,500
- Qualifications: Relevant academic, professional qualifications, or specialized skills
