S Pass in Singapore
The S Pass is a work pass for mid-skilled foreign workers in Singapore. It is meant for individuals who possess relevant qualifications and work experience but are not at the senior or executive level required for the Employment Pass.
The application process
Employer Application
To apply, you must secure a job offer from a Singapore-based employer who is willing to sponsor the S Pass application

Submit Application
The employer will submit the S Pass application through the Ministry of Manpower’s online portal

Processing Time
Once submitted, the application is reviewed by MOM. This can take a few weeks, during which MOM will assess the applicant's qualifications and the employer's compliance with regulations.

Approval
If approved, the S Pass is issued for up to 2 years and can be renewed. The pass holder must adhere to the conditions of the pass and ensure the renewal is done before the pass expires
Quota
Employers must comply with sector-specific quotas and levy requirements. They need to ensure they have not exceeded the number of S Pass holders allowed for their business and pay the applicable levy.
Eligibility Criteria
- Jo Offer: Must have a job offer in Singapore
- Monthly Salary: Minimum monthly salary of SGD 2,500
- Qualifications: The applicant must meet the educational and work experience criteria specified by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
